Gwen Stefani's Dip-Dyed Hair Looks Like a Candy Cane: Photos

Here’s a cup ‘o holiday cheer, courtesy of Gwen Stefani‘s hair! 

The hairstyle chameleon spiced up her platinum locks for the 25th Annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas concert in Inglewood, Calif., on Dec. 14. After previously rocking bold dye jobs including all-over baby pink, bright green, and aqua blue — it’s not that much of a surprise The Voice judge, 45, would find a way to channel a holiday treat.  

Matching her signature bold red lip, the L.A.M.B. designer hit the stage with five rows of bright red hair streaks, which resembled a candy cane — leaving us all to ponder if we’re looking at the latest holiday hairstyle fad. 

It seems that Keke Palmer got the memo. The Cinderella actress, 21, was spotted with some holiday razzle-dazzle, debuting red streaks to her ebony pixie on Dec. 16 in New York City.

However, Stefani didn’t make a permanent adjustment to her hair hue. On Wednesday, Dec. 16, the pop-rocker was back to her classic retro waves to perform on The Voice, and not a single fiery strand was in sight. 

Stefani, who happens to be a natural brunette, discussed going blonde to Teen Vogue in September. “My mom started letting me do my hair in ninth grade with the frosting cap and all that, but it was a big moment for me when I did my whole head,” she recalled. ” I remember my boyfriend and I had just broken up, and I was like I don’t care how much it costs, I’m getting my hair bleached!’
